Shore Club

Chicago finally has an elevated beachfront experience where diners and good-time seekers alike can rejoice. Shore Club has an eclectic menu of beach-going goodies that are sure to impress even the most sophisticated of palettes. Plus, their outdoor patio gives you a respite from the crowds at North Avenue Beach—without sacrificing the view of Lake Michigan. Are you in the mood to party? The Oasis at Shore Club is an immersive beach club experience that offers bottle service, cabanas and daybeds via a reservation. 1603 N. Lakeshore Dr., 312.635.8058

There may not be a more stunning cityscape view than that from Cindy’s rooftop restaurant at the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel. Immediately upon stepping out on the expansive space, you know you are somewhere special. Enjoy brunch, lunch or dinner while gazing out over breathtaking Millennium Park and Lake Michigan. Try the Coctel De Mariscos for brunch or their signature Fab Five cocktail made with gin, fernet, avocado, banana and absinthe (yes, you heard correctly). Cindy’s will certainly please the most discerning of rooftop-goers. 12 S. Michigan Ave., 312.792.3502

Beatnik On The River

Welcome to the boho chic world that is Beatnik On The River. This venue automatically transports you to a place where you can recline in the lap of luxury while seeing and being seen. Morocco-meets-Bali decor and eclectic Mediterranean cuisine converge in this riverside restaurant. Expect flavors from Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Spain and Peru, all while drinking cocktails such as the Butterfly Effect with pea-infused gin, lavender, honey, egg white and tiki bitters. 180 N. Upper Wacker Dr., 312.526.3345

The Hampton Social in Streeterville is the Parker Restaurant Group’s second Hampton Social location in Chicago.

The Hampton Social, Streeterville

In the summer, the posh and the privileged go to the Hamptons. But we here in Chicago can make the Hamptons come to us. Get your “Rosé All Day” fix on the bougie The Hampton Social rooftop in Streeterville where Ralph Lauren-loving Sancerre sippers can truly feel at home. Nibble on some Montauk Chicken Wings or graze on a Maine-style lobster roll. Time to let loose and cool down? Don’t miss their Frosé—a slushie of Tito’s Vodka, rosé and peach puree. 164 E. Grand Ave., 312.414.1861

Fulton Market’s new celebrity chef-driven digs is Cabra by acclaimed Top Chef alum Stephanie Izard.  BOKA Group’s latest endeavor fuses rooftop prestige with one of the most anticipated and revered menus in town. Its Peruvian theme flows throughout the aesthetic and the cuisine. It’s Chicago’s first “cevicheria” with five ceviches and five tiraditos on the menu. It wouldn’t be a Stephanie Izard restaurant without something goat-related on the menu, and she doesn’t disappoint with her goat empanadas. Izard also went full “patio vibe” with a frozen cocktail of her own. Here, the frozen Pisco is quite apropos with Ketel One, lime, aji, Pisco Italia and guava. 200 N. Green St., 312.761.1717
