Fredman Design Group and Sophisticated Living Chicago magazine welcomed more than 75 guests to the Fredman showroom on Armitage Avenue for an event meant to further the conversation of design thinking through the experience of creative disruption. “At Fredman Design Group, as a company and as a culture, we are always looking for interactive ways to grow creativity and innovation with intention,” says Fredman Design Group CEO Terri Crittenden. “And that’s what this event was all about. Taking what you think you know about design and creativity, and turning it upside down to look, wonder and think again.” Local artists—Brandin Hurley, Merlot, Fuerza Creative Studio, Amuse126 and Ari Smejkal—curated by Revolving Collections Gallery, “disrupted” the showroom with cool installations while partygoers enjoyed creative beverages courtesy of Almighty Spirits, fine wines from Diamond Wine Importers and bites by Limelight.
