Zen Yoga Garage truly has it all—think a welcoming, community-driven yoga studio that offers so many different classes, it’s impossible to get bored. Vinyasa classes, offered at levels 1 through 3 depending on your experience level, are heated to 85-95 degrees, while Zen Hot will have you doing an hour of static and flow postures at 99-105 degrees. Buddha Barre incorporates light weights, short cardio bursts and barre moves, while Buddha Burn brings weights into a high-intensity yoga-based workout. There’s also prenatal yoga, a class called Runn that offers yoga designed for runners, and Sunday evening Zen Vin Yin Vino, a yoga session that ends with a glass of wine in the studio, an airy space with windowed garage doors overlooking Milwaukee Avenue. Check the website for special events, from summer classes on the patio at Parson’s Chicken to workshops such as Yoga Nidra, a deeply relaxing meditation.
